If you’ve touched a Canadian radio dial in the last decade, you’ve heard producer Andrei Diaconu’s handywork many times over. Romanian born and Vancouver-based, Andrei is a versatile composer, sound designer, podcast producer, voiceover artist, and singer/songwriter, responsible for some of the most memorable national commercials, stingers, and branded audio content.

Equally comfortable behind the mic or the console, Andrei has worked at all the top stations in one of North America's largest markets. His contributions to radio, podcasting, and voiceover work have earned him a reputation for creative excellence. Clients praise his ability to deliver sound that not only enhances their brand but also captures the listener's attention in a crowded market.

Music and Personal Projects

In addition to his commercial work, Andrei is a prolific musician. He regularly performs, collaborates, and produces for various music projects. Most recently, he released a collaborative album of Amazonian Medicine Music in early 2023, showcasing his deep appreciation for world music and its healing properties. Later in 2023, he followed up with a full-length album of original songs, blending folk, pop, and electronica. Looking ahead, Andrei is excited to release an electro/chill album and a comedy album in 2024, expanding his creative horizons even further.
